for photographers. Her passion is using positive fun training to increase the bond
and cooperation between dog and owner.

Nicole Turner
We’re so excited to be able to offer Agility Training Days with the AMAZING Nicole! She’s been in agility for 13 years, taught lots of different breeds over the last 10 years and she really enjoys designing sequences to test skills and encouraging handlers to try lots of different options.

Kay Attwood
Kay Attwood is one of the UK’s leading trainers specialising in positive reinforcement to
help dogs achieve their potential and to create behaviour changing opportunities that
will enhance their quality of life.
A lifelong dog lover, Kay founded her own training school – Kay9 Services – in 2005 and
since that time she has built up a worldwide following, extending her repertoire to
include platform training, focus, recall, loose lead walking anticipatory behaviour and
cognitive skills. She runs workshops on all these topics – she is currently the only trainer
in the UK to present platform and cognition workshops – and is a regular guest speaker
at global conferences. In 2019, Kay received one of the Kennel Club’s most prestigious
awards – KCAI Dog Trainer of the Year – for her outstanding achievements and
dedication to promoting the health and welfare of all dogs.
In addition to running Kay9 Services, Kay is an approved trainer for the charity Veterans
With Dogs, helping to train assistance dogs for ex-service personnel. She is a member
of the Pet Professional Guild and is a regular PPG webinar presenter. In addition, she is a
trainer and behaviourist for the Companion Animal Network and for INTODogs, a gold
member and assessor for the Academy of Dog Trainers, and an approved trainer and
behaviourist with the Dog Welfare Alliance.
Kay lives in Surrey with her five dogs, all rescues, who have found their way into her home and her heart

Leslie Woods
Leslie is joining us to teach Agility groups and 1-2-1s whilst Holly is on maternity leave (although we hope she’ll stay for a lot longer).
Leslie has been teaching for over 10 years and has a huge amount of experience, with both her collies having competed at Crufts.
Even though her dogs currently compete at Grade 6 and 7, Leslie loves teaching beginners and making agility fun and accessible for everyone.

Louise Pawley
Louise owns spaniel Dougal and labrador Mac and finds fun ways to build on their relationship by making learning as fun as possible.
She is dedicated to learning about science-based, reward-based gundog training in order to teach her students to train their dogs in a fun, force free and effective way.
Louise is passionate about using science-based, non-aversive, kind methods to bring out the best in both dogs and their owners alike. She believes that training should always be fun and enjoyable for both the dog and handler, regardless of the end goal. Using kind methods will help to build a strong relationship which will become essential when competing or working.
Louise encourages handlers who train with her to use clickers and placeboards to help breakdown the complex tasks into smaller, easier to understand stages, which speeds up the learning for the dog.
Louise has achieved Grades 1, 2, 3, and 4 with her Labrador Mac, and she also competes with him in Kennel Club competitions. She works her spaniel on a local shoot.
Louise is a foundation grade instructor for the Gundog Club. She offers mixed ability classes from beginners onwards for pet gundogs. She also offers 1-2-1 lessons and workshops.
Louise is currently studying for a BSc in Applied canine training and behaviour at Bishop Burton. She is a student member of the Fellowship of Animal Behaviour Clinicians, and a full member of IMDT.

Nicky Deakin
With a lifelong love of animals and over 20 years of training dogs in lifestyle obedience and competitive agility, Nicky has a wealth of experience to offer the new puppy owner. She believes life skills training should be fun for both owner and the young dog with the aim of achieving a happy well-balanced family pet.
Nicky has owned and trained eight rescue dogs and currently has four small crossbreed terriers. She competes and helps train at all levels of agility but also has fun with trick training. Nicky is also one of the founding members of a voluntary group that helps children who are
scared, to overcome their fear of dogs – two of her current dogs are qualified therapy dogs.

Tammy McKendrick
I have been training dogs for 3 years. I became a trainer primarily for my own pickley working cocker spaniel. He comes from a working line so needed the right stimulation to keep him happy at home. I found a love for it. Concept training which focuses on providing handler and dog with tools to navigate most situations, it is reward based and founded in fun. Gun dogs (particularly spaniels) are a passion breed for me, highly versatile in disciplines whether it be agility, trials, scent work or in the field, they are the best!

Natasha Filler
My name is Natasha, I am the founder of Poodaroo Follow the Nose, I’m passionate about all things Dog & Scent related this includes mantrailing, scentwork and gundog. If I’m not teaching, I’m training my owns dogs and learning as much as I can.
